MOSCOW, March 5 – RIA Novosti. UFC Lightweight champion Russian Islam Makhachev posed for a group photo with Ukrainian boxer Vasily Lomachenko.
The athletes met at the UFC 285 tournament, which took place on March 4 in Las Vegas. Ukrainian and Russian joint photos were taken. This trailer of the broadcast was posted on the UFC Twitter account. Lomachenko’s Ukrainian fans criticized the boxer after this episode.
Makhachev is 31 years old, he has 24 wins and one loss in mixed martial arts. The Russian won 12 fights in a row. He became the UFC lightweight champion, defeating Brazilian Charles Oliveira on October 22 last year.
