Avangard defeated Sibir to take the lead in the first round of the KHL playoffs.
MOSCOW, March 6 – RIA Novosti. Avangard Omsk defeated Sibir Novosibirsk in the third match of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) first-round playoff series.
The match in Novosibirsk ended in favor of the guests with a score of 4:3 (2:1, 1:0, 1:2). As part of the winners, Sergei Tolchinsky double (8th and 43rd minutes), Vladimir Tkachev (15) and Korben Knight (34) scored one each.
