Former referee Nikolaev believes referees Fedorov and Cheban can pull RPL level
MOSCOW, March 10 – RIA Novosti, Pavel Levkovich. Alexei Nikolaev, former referee of the International Football Federation (FIFA), told RIA Novosti, referees Artur Fedorov and Sergey Cheban managed to pull the level of the Russian Premier League (RPL), but he said that the main factor will be psychological pressure.
For various reasons, seven experts who were previously involved in the work of VAR chief judges and referees in the RPL were not appointed to the 19th round of the Russian Championship: Yan Bobrovsky, Vitaly Meshkov, Vladimir Moskalev, Ivan Sidenkov, Artem Chistyakov, Anton Frolov and Evgeny Turbin. For the first time, referees Arthur Fedorov and Sergey Cheban made appointments for RPL matches.
