Rafael Nadal returns to court after injured at the Monte Carlo Masters

In mid-January, after losing in the second round of the Australian Open, Nadal underwent a medical examination that revealed a second-degree iliopsoas injury to his left leg. Rest and anti-inflammatory physiotherapy were given for 6-8 weeks. The Spaniard then withdrew from the grueling Masters at Indian Wells and Miami. In this regard, Nadal entered the top ten in the ATP rankings for the first time since April 2005.
