Kucherov’s 100th point of the NHL season didn’t save Tampa from defeat in a New Jersey game
MOSCOW, March 20 – RIA Novosti. Hockey players “Tampa Bay Lightning” lost to the “New Jersey Devils” during the regular season of the National Hockey League (NHL).
The match, which took place in Tampa, ended with the score of 5:2 (0:1, 3:1, 2:0) in favor of the guests. Among the winners, Jesper Bratt (27th, 30th and 60th minutes) scored a hat-trick, while Niko Hishir (33) and Nolan Foot (50) recorded another disc. Tampa has registered Russian forward Nikita Kucherov (4) and Alex Killorn (27).

Recognized as the third star of the match with a goal, Kucherov reached 100 points in the 2022/23 regular season. For the Russian, this championship was the third in his career in the NHL with 100 points or more. Kucherov is the sixth current league player to play three or more seasons with 100 points. Previously, Connor McDavid, Sidney Crosby (both season six), Leon Dreisaitl and Alexander Ovechkin (four seasons) and Evgeni Malkin (3) had accomplished this.
Russian defender “Tampa” Mikhail Sergachev made a shot on target, made two powerful moves and blocked two shots. Lightning goalkeeper Andrey Vasilevski saved 34 of 38 shots.
