MOSCOW, March 26 – RIA Novosti. Kazakhstan representative Elena Rybakina defeated Spanish Paula Badosa in the third round match of the WTA 1000 tennis tournament held in Miami (USA) with a prize fund of $8.8 million.

The match ended with a score of 3:6, 7:5, 6:3 in favor of Rybakina, who ranked 10th in the tournament. Badosa had the 21st serial number. Tennis players spent 2 hours and 31 minutes on the court.
In the fourth round, Rybakina will face the winner of the match between Croatia’s Petra Martic (29th seeded) and Belgium’s Elise Mertens.
Potapova defeated Gauff at Miami to advance to the fourth round of the tournament.
