“Kunlun Red Star” will spend another KHL season in Mytishchi
MOSCOW, March 30 – RIA Novosti. According to the club’s official Telegram channel, Beijing Kunlun Red Star will play the next season of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) in Mytishchi, near Moscow.
Kunlun has been at the Mytishchi Arena near Moscow since the beginning of the 2021/22 season in connection with the closure of borders due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“The club remains hopeful about returning to China in the 2024/25 season. At the same time, we plan to discuss with the KHL the possibility of China hosting some matches possibly with Far East teams in the 2023/24 season.” text says.

Kunlun Red Star has been playing in the KHL since the 2016/17 season. Last regular season, the team finished the regular season in tenth place and failed to qualify for the playoffs.
