Olympic champion Latynina believes you should not agree to the terms of the IOC
MOSCOW, March 31 – RIA Novosti, Svetlana Bonopartova. Larisa Latynina, a nine-time Olympic champion in artistic gymnastics, told RIA Novosti that Russian athletes should not accept the conditions proposed by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for admission to competitions.
On Tuesday, the IOC Executive Committee recommended that international federations allow Russians who do not support the CBO to compete as neutral athletes. The IOC also recommended that athletes affiliated with the armed forces or security agencies not be allowed to compete.
