The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) deprived Juventus of 15 points in January for financial fraud and also suspended some club officials from football. The FIGC appeals body then held hearings to reopen the fraud case.

The publication writes that UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin promised to help Juventus if the club management gave up on the idea of ​​​​the Super League before the decision of the European Union court on the fate of the tournament. It is expected to be delivered before the end of the year.

In April 2021, 12 European clubs announced the establishment of the Süper Lig. The International Football Federation (FIFA), UEFA, national federations, representatives of the football community and fans have strongly criticized the idea of ​​a new tournament. All English clubs then announced their withdrawal from the project, followed by Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid. Juventus, Real Madrid and Barcelona have adhered to the idea of ​​the Super League, for which UEFA has filed disciplinary proceedings.

In May 2022, the Court of Justice of the European Union registered the appeal of the Super League for a possible violation of competition rules by UEFA and FIFA. In January, the Madrid provincial court defended the interests of the creators of the new tournament and ordered international federations not only to refrain from taking any measures that hinder the development of the Super League, but also to refrain from statements about the tournament. .
