Medvedev won the 19th singles tournament in his career and his fourth ATP tournament this season. The Russian earned $1,262 million and 1,000 rating points for the victory in Miami. The sinner will receive 662,600 points. On Monday, Medvedev will rise to fourth place in the ranking of the best tennis players in the world.
Novak Djokovic missed the tournament in Miami. A Serb who has not been vaccinated against the coronavirus has been denied entry to the United States. He was previously unable to appear in “Masters” at Indian Wells for the same reason.
