ROC President Pozdnyakov congratulated Gorshkov on his re-election as FFKKR chairman
MOSCOW, May 25 – RIA Novosti. Stanislav Pozdnyakov, President of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC), congratulated Alexander Gorshkov on his re-election as president of the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR).
FFKKR Chairman Gorshkov has been re-elected for a new four-year term. Alexander Kogan assumed the duty of General Manager of the organization. Voting took place at the FFKKR’s reporting and election conference in Moscow on Wednesday. Gorshkov and Kogan were unanimously elected.
Gorshkov, the 1976 Olympic champion in ice dancing, has been the president of FFKKR since 2010. He is Honored Master of Sports of the USSR, Honored Trainer of the USSR, Honored Worker of Physical Culture of the Russian Federation. Kogan has been the Managing Director of FFKKR since 2014, before that he was the organization’s vice president.
