Reideborn, Yudin and Grigorenko were recognized as the best players of the semifinals of the KHL playoffs.
MOSCOW, April 13 – RIA Novosti. CSKA goalkeeper Adam Reideborn has been named the Continental Hockey League (KHL) playoff semifinals best player for the first time in his career.
Reideborn has four wins in six games. He saved 94.85% of shots on goal, his factor of safety was 1.50. The Swede played to zero in two games.
For the first time in his career, Dmitry Yudin from Ak Bars Kazan was named the best defender with 4 points (2 goals and 2 assists) in five games. It was Discs’ first game during his time in the playoffs. The defender also has four powerful moves and eight blocky shots.
For the third time in his career, the best striker was Mikhail Grigorenko, representing CSKA. He scored 7 points (3+4) in six games. Series St. Petersburg SKA (7:3), the striker scored a hat-trick. He also fired a blocked shot.
Ak Bars defender Nikita Evseev was selected as the best player of the semi-finals for the first time in his career, scoring 2 points (1+1) in four games he played. The goal was his debut in the KHL playoffs, and Evseev also became the youngest writer of the Kazan puck in the Gagarin Cup. He did not finish any of the games with a negative good score of +2 in total and blocked two shots.
In the semi-finals of the Gagarin Cup, CSKA, SKA St. Petersburg (4-2), while Ak Bars defeated Avangard Omsk (4-1).
