Bashirov, general manager of “Salavat”, does not believe that the players of “Tolpar” are doping on purpose
MOSCOW, April 25 – RIA Novosti. Rinat Bashirov, general manager of Ufa “Salavat Yulaev”, told reporters that until now there is no reason to assume that Tolpar hockey players deliberately use illegal drugs.
The press service of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) previously told RIA Novosti that seven players from Ufa Tolpar, the farm club of Salavat Yulaev in the Youth Hockey League (MHL), have tested positive for doping. As noted in the JHL, meldonium was found in samples of two athletes.
Tolpar reached the 1/4 finals in the MHL playoffs this season, losing to the Omsk Hawks (1-3) in the series.
