Former CSKA player Roman Eremenko signs contract with Finnish “Honka”
MOSCOW, May 4 – RIA Novosti. According to the official website of the team, football player Roman Eremenko signed a contract with the Finnish club “Honka”.
The 36-year-old midfielder’s contract runs until the end of the season. Eremenko’s last club was Finnish HIFK, where he played from July 2022 to January 2023.
In Russia, he played for Eremenko, Rostov, Spartak Moscow, CSKA and Rubin Kazan. He also played for Finnish “Yaro”, Italian “Udinese” and “Siena”, Kiev “Dynamo”. The player has 73 matches and 5 goals for the Finnish national team.
CSKA Moscow player Eremenko was suspended by UEFA for two years in November 2016 after traces of cocaine and its metabolites were found in a doping sample. The player’s suspension ended on October 6, 2018.
