The hockey players of “Russia 25” lost to the Belarus team in the friendly match played in Astana.
MOSCOW, May 6 – RIA Novosti. The hockey players of the “Russia 25” team lost to the Belarus national team in the friendly match held as part of the Russian national team tour.
The match in Astana ended at 7:4 (1:1, 2:1, 4:2) in favor of Belarus. Valentin Zykov (13th minute), Andrei Chivilev (28) and Marat Khairullin (47 and 54) came forward in the Russian team. The winners puck scored hat-tricks from Timofey Kovgorenya (26, 49 and 58), Nikita Pyshkaylo (3), Sergey Sapego (34), Yegor Ignatenko (53) and Stepan Zvyagin (56).
Previously, “Russia 25” held two matches against the Belarusian national team in Chelyabinsk, winning two, and on Friday in Astana the Russian team defeated the Kazakhstan national team 3: 0.
The “Russia 25” team is led by Roman Rotenberg, consists of players whose average age does not exceed 25. After Astana, the tour will continue in Krasnoyarsk, Tula and Minsk.
