Samoshnikov leaves Rubin Kazan
MOSCOW, June 6 – RIA Novosti. Kazan football club “Rubin” telegraph channel announced the departure of defender Ilya Samoshnikov from the team.
Samoshnikov’s contract with the club was calculated until June 2023. Earlier, Kazan Sporting Director Eduard Safonov told RIA Novosti that the 25-year-old defender could go to Lokomotiv Moscow.
Samoshnikov moved from Torpedo Moscow to Rubin in January 2020. As part of the Kazan club, he played 87 matches, in which he scored five goals and made five assists. The actor previously played for Moscow “Ararat” and Yaroslavl “Shinnik”.
Last season, Rubin became the champion of the First Division. Kazan won a ticket to the Russian Premier League and returned to the top league of the Russian championship a season later.
