Italiano says he felt ‘destroyed’ after losing to West Ham

MOSCOW, June 8 – RIA Novosti. Fiorentina head coach Vincenzo Italiano said he felt crushed and devastated after losing the UEFA Conference League final to England’s West Ham team.

Fiorentina lost 1-2 to West Ham in Prague on Wednesday and Hammers scored the winning goal in the 90th minute. Earlier, the “violets” lost to “Inter” 1:2 in the final of the Italian Cup.

“We lost two finals but we played well. It’s a big pain. We’re ruined. Especially tonight we had a chance to score, we were one meter short and instead… We came after losing the final and we knew that. We can recover in time. Italiano has been in charge of Fiorentina since 2021 and his contract runs until the end of June, with the possibility of an extension for another year.
