Barys signs Czech hockey player Cerveny
MOSCOW, September 19 – RIA Novosti. According to the official website of the club from the capital of Kazakhstan, Czech forward Rudolf Cerveny, who previously played for Slovan Bratislava, Dynamo Riga and Amiral Vladivostok in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), became a player of Barys Astana.
Barys signed a one-way contract with the 34-year-old striker until the end of this season. Cerveny has already arrived at the club’s location and had his first training session with the new team on Tuesday.
Last season, Cherveny played in 60 games for Admiral during the KHL regular season and recorded 20 points (13 goals + 7 assists) in these games. In the playoffs, he recorded three assists in 12 games. In total, the Czech player played 161 matches in the KHL and collected 58 (31+27) points.
