Tennis players of the Serbian national team will face the British in the 1/4 finals of the Davis Cup
MOSCOW, September 19 – RIA Novosti. According to the official account of the tournament on the social network X (formerly the social network Twitter), the Serbian national team will meet the team of Great Britain in the 1/4 finals of the Davis Cup.
The draw for the Davis Cup Final Eight was held on Tuesday. The matches will be played in Malaga, Spain between 21-26 November.
The winner of the match between Serbia and England will face the best of the Italy-Netherlands duo in the semi-finals. In the other matches of the 1/4 finals, the Canadian team will face the Finnish team and the Czech team will face the Australian team.
Due to the situation in Ukraine, the participation of the national teams of Russia and Belarus in the competition was suspended. Russian and Belarusian players can only compete as neutral athletes in tournaments under the auspices of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) and the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA).
