Kaprizov says he’s highly motivated ahead of NHL season
MOSCOW, October 4 – RIA Novosti. Russian forward Kirill Kaprizov of the Minnesota Wild club of the National Hockey League (NHL) said that he was extremely motivated before the new season started.
Minnesota was eliminated from the Stanley Cup in the 2022/23 season and lost to Dallas (2-4) in the first round series. Kaprizov scored one goal in six play-off games. Before this, the striker could not play for a month due to injury.
The striker also said that his injury has fully recovered.
“I will come out and do my best and I expect the team to do the same. Obviously our goal is to get into the play-offs and perform well there and we will strive for that,” added Kaprizov.
Last season, in the regular season, the Russian player scored 75 points (40 goals + 35 assists) in 67 games.
