Malkin’s goal did not save Pittsburgh from defeat in NHL match against Nashville

MOSCOW, November 29 – RIA Novosti. Pittsburgh Penguins hockey players lost against the Nashville Predators in a National Hockey League (NHL) regular season game.

The match, which took place in Nashville, ended with the home team winning 3:2 (2:0, 0:1, 0:1, 1:0) in extra time. For the Predators, Michael McCarron scored a double goal in normal time (in the 11th and 19th minutes), while Filip Forsberg scored the winning goal in the 14th second of extra time (61). Russian forwards Evgeni Malkin (26) and Brian Rust (43) scored goals for Pittsburgh.
