Hamilton says he won’t miss Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix due to back pain
MOSCOW, 13 June – RIA Novosti. British Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton says he will race on the ninth lap of the 2022 Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix despite back pain.
On Sunday, the seven-time world champion finished fourth at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, which took place on the streets of Baku. Over the weekend, he and teammate Briton George Russell complained of severe pain from the car accumulating on the straights at high speed, so the Briton’s participation in the next stage was called into question.
The Canadian Grand Prix will be held in Montreal on June 17-19.
