Belgium national football team defeated the Poles away from the League of Nations.
MOSCOW, June 14 – RIA Novosti. Belgium national football team defeated Poland for the second time in the League of Nations group stage.
The Group 4 match of Elite Group A, held in Warsaw on Tuesday, ended with a score of 1:0 in favor of the Belgians. The only goal came from Michy Batshuayi in the 16th minute. Earlier, on 8 June, the Belgium national team had defeated the Poles at home with a score of 6:1.
In the other group match, the Dutch team defeated Wales 3-2 in Rotterdam. The home team recorded Noah Lang (17th minute) and Cody Gakpo (23) and Memphis Depay scored the winning goal in the added fourth minute. Away goals were scored by Brennan Johnson (26) and Gareth Bale from the penalty spot (90+2).
The Dutch national team, who took a break from the League of Nations until the autumn as the group leader, collected 10 points in four matches. Belgium is second with 7 points, Poland is third with 4 points and Wales is fourth with 1 point.
