Southgate: The result of Hungary match depends on me
MOSCOW, June 15 – RIA Novosti. England head coach Gareth Southgate said he was entirely responsible for the devastating home defeat to Hungary in the UEFA Nations League game.
The England team lost to the Hungarian team at home on Tuesday in the League of Nations’ elite Group A group 3 match. The match in Wolverhampton ended 4:0 in favor of the Hungarians. The English team lost by four goals in a home game for the first time since 1928, when the English lost to the Scots with a score of 1: 5.
England have lost twice to Hungary in the current Nations League. Both times the English failed to score. Southgate’s team had previously lost to their opponents in Budapest with a score of 0:1.
