Kogan: FFKKR fights to maintain maximum quotas for Russian skaters
MOSCOW, June 17 – RIA Novosti, Andrey Simonenko. FFKKR General Manager Alexander Kogan told reporters that the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) is struggling to maintain maximum quotas for the Russian national team to participate in the World Championships.
On March 1, by the decision of the board of the International Skating Union (ISU), the participation of Russian figure skaters in international tournaments was suspended. The Russians missed the World Cup held in Montpellier (France) at the end of March. The national team had to participate with maximum representation – three participants in each discipline.
