MOSCOW, June 19 – RIA Novosti, Anastasia Panina. Russian rhythmic gymnasts Dina and Arina Averina told reporters that they are very sorry for figure skater Alexandra Trusova, who won a silver medal at the 2022 Olympics in Beijing.
At the Olympic Games in women’s single skating, Trusova took second place, losing to compatriot Anna Shcherbakova. Another Russian woman, Kamila Valieva, finished the competition in fourth place.
“We were happy for Anya Shcherbakova that she became the Olympic champion. It’s a shame for Sasha Trusova and even more offensive for Kamila (Valiyeva),” said Arina.
“We watched the Games in Beijing. We were worried not only about figure skating, but also about Alexander Bolshunov, about the relay. We watched hockey.
