Avangard signs contract with Vladimir Tkachev
MOSCOW, June 20 – RIA Novosti. Vladimir Tkachev, a hockey player who plays for the Los Angeles Kings in the National Hockey League (NHL), has signed with Avangard. informs Official website of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) Omsk club.
Previously, St. Roman Rotenberg, vice president, general manager and head coach of St. Petersburg SKA, said that SKA traded Tkachev to Avangard. Omsk club received the rights of the 26-year-old player in exchange for financial compensation. A 1-year contract was signed with the striker.
Tkachev graduated from Omsk hockey, began his adult career in Avangard. He spent one season in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) before moving to the SKA in 2015. He also played as a forward for Vladivostok “Admiral” and Ufa “Salavat Yulaev” in the KHL, after which he went to St. Petersburg, he returned to the club. He joined Los Angeles in 2021 and played four games and two assists in the NHL.
