MOSCOW, June 28 – RIA Novosti, Alexander Sergeev. The head of the Orenburg football club, Vasily Eremyakin, told RIA Novosti that the extension of the suspension of striker Vladimir Obukhov shows WADA’s bias.
According to the results of the doping control conducted in 2013, methandienone (a type of anabolic steroid) was found in Obukhov’s analyzes. The player was suspended for 6 months. The qualifying period expired on December 2, 2021. On Monday, it became known that WADA has extended Obukhov’s suspension for another six months.
