Salavat Yulaev signs contract with Canadian Ryan Murphy
MOSCOW, June 29 – RIA Novosti. Ufa “Salavat Yulaev” signed a contract with Canadian defender Ryan Murphy, reported On the website of the Continental Hockey League (KHL).
The deal with the 29-year-old hockey player is for one season.
Last season, Murphy played for the National Hockey League (NHL) Detroit Red Wings and played for the Grand Rapids Griffins in the American Hockey League (AHL). He also played for the Minnesota Wild and New Jersey Devils in the NHL. He took part in a total of 175 games in the league and scored 43 points (8 goals + 35 assists). In the KHL, the Canadian played for Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk and Dinamo Minsk. He has 31 points (10+21) in 72 games.
