Skier Vylegzhanin does not intend to finish his career in marathons, despite suspension
MOSCOW, July 1 – RIA Novosti, Sergei Smyshlyaev. Russian skier Maxim Vylegzhanin, a three-time Olympic silver medalist, told RIA Novosti that despite being suspended, he has no intention of finishing his career in marathons.
In mid-June, the Worldloppet International Ski Marathon Federation suspended Russian and Belarusian skiers from participating in competitions under its auspices. 39-year-old Vylegzhanin has specialized in marathon races in recent seasons.
