“I still can’t believe it”: Elena Rybakina – about winning Wimbledon
MOSCOW, July 11 – RIA Novosti. The official website of the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation (FTK) reported that Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina will meet with journalists, young athletes and fans in Nur-Sultan, the capital of Kazakhstan, on Tuesday.
On Saturday, Rybakina defeated Tunisian Ounce Jaber in the Wimbledon final.
At the age of 23, Rybakina played in the final of the Grand Slam tournament for the first time in her career. A native of Moscow, until 2018 the tennis player represented Russia. In June 2018, Rybakina changed her sports citizenship to Kazakh.
