Eight Swiss football players poisoned themselves at the European Championship held in England.
MOSCOW, July 11 – RIA Novosti. According to the official website of the Swiss Football Association, eight players and 11 employees of the Swiss women’s team were poisoned at the European Championship held in England.
Football players Eseosa Aigbogun, Svenja Felmli, Seraina Fridli, Rahel Kivik, Lara Marti, Sandrine Mauron, Yulia Stirli and Riola Kshemaili have reportedly been isolated from the main team. Players and staff will remain in isolation until symptoms (vomiting and diarrhea) resolve.
In the first round of the European Championship – 2022 group stage, the Swiss team drew with the Portuguese team (2: 2). In the next round, Switzerland will meet the Swedes on July 13.
