President of Kazakhstan awarded tennis player Rybakina Order of Friendship II degree
NUR-SULTAN, 11 July – RIA Novosti. President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev awarded tennis player Elena Rybakina the Order of Friendship II degree.
Kazakh tennis player Yelena Rybakina defeated Tunisian Ons Jaber on Saturday in the Wimbledon final, her third Grand Slam of the season.

Rybakina, a native of Moscow, represented Russia until 2018. In June 2018, she changed her sports citizenship to Kazakh she. The 23-year-old tennis player played in a Grand Slam final for the first time in her career.
Held on grass courts in the suburbs of London, Wimbledon will conclude on July 10. In April, the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC) did not allow Russian and Belarusian tennis players to participate in the tournament due to the situation in Ukraine. By contrast, in May the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) and the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) decided not to release Wimbledon ranking points.
