Danish cyclist Nielsen wins the 10th stage of the Tour de France
MOSCOW, July 12 – RIA Novosti. Dane Magnus Kort Nielsen of EF Education – Easypost won the tenth stage of the Tour de France multi-day cycling race.
He completed the 148.5 kilometer stage in 3 hours, 18 minutes and 50 seconds. Second and third places went to Nick Schultz from Australia (Team Bikeexchange-Jayco) and Spain’s Luis Leon Sanchez (Bahrain Victorious), who were in the same group as the winner.
Russian Bora-Hansgrohe cyclist Alexander Vlasov finished the race 32nd (8 minutes 54 seconds behind) under the neutral flag.
Slovenian Tadej Pogacar from UAE Team Emirates continues to lead the overall classification with 37 hours 11 minutes 28 seconds. Germany’s Lennard Kemna (+0.11) is second from Bora-Hansgrohe, followed by Denmark’s Jonas Wingegaard (+0.39; Jumbo-Visma). Vlasov (+3.12) dropped to 14th place.
The 11th stage, which is 152 km long, will be held on 13 July.
