Former UNICS basketball player Brown signed with AS Monaco.

MOSCOW, July 17 – RIA Novosti. According to the basketball club’s official website, American big forward John Brown has signed with Monaco.

A 2-year contract was signed with the 30-year-old striker.

Brown started last season at UNICS Kazan, where he left during the season. He averaged 12.3 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 12 VTB United League games. The American scored 10.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 25 Euroleague games for the Kazan club.

“Leaving Kazan wasn’t easy. I had comrades there that I befriended. They didn’t want me to leave. But they understood my choice. At some point, you have to make a decision without looking back. That’s exactly how I did it. He did,” Brown said.

He finished Brown in Italian “Brescia” last season. He averaged 9.3 points and 5.6 rebounds in seven games with the team.
