Ferencvaros Cherchesova was defeated in the 2nd qualifying match of the Champions League.
MOSCOW, July 20 – RIA Novosti. Hungarian football club “Ferencváros” lost to Slovak “Slovan” in the first match of the Champions League second qualifying round.
The match in Budapest ended in favor of the guests 2:1. As part of the home team, Kristoffer Zakariassen scored a goal (70 minutes), Guram Kashiya (81) and Tigran Barseghyan (86) scored against the Slovak club.

Ferencvaros has been headed by the former head coach of Russian national team Stanislav Cherchesov since December last year. The club under his leadership last season became the champion and owner of the Hungarian Cup. Slovan’s head coach is Vladimir Weiss, who previously worked on Saturn near Moscow.
The second match will be played on 27 July in Bratislava.
