Cherchesov: I was sure Ferencvaros could beat Slovan in Champions League
MOSCOW, July 28 – RIA Novosti. Russian expert Stanislav Cherchesov, head of Hungarian football club “Ferencváros”, said he is confident that his team’s confrontation with Bratislava “Slovan” in the second round of the Champions League qualifiers will turn the tide.
Ferencváros defeated Slovan 4-1 away and advanced to the third round of the Champions League qualifiers. In the first game, “Ferencvaros” lost to “Slovan” – 1:2. The next opponent of the Hungarian team will be the Azerbaijani “Karabakh”.
