Ternovoy and Bondar win the high dive at the Friendly Games in Kazan
MOSCOW, July 28 – RIA Novosti. Paired with Alexander Bondar, bronze medalist of the European Championship, Ruslan Ternova won the synchronized platform dive at the International Competition of the Friendship Games in Kazan.
After six tries, they scored 511.65. Igor Myalin and Arkady Aydarov (404.25) took the second place, the third – representatives of Armenia Vladimir Harutyunyan and Lev Sargsyan (383.34).
Elizaveta Kuzina (377.40) was the best in the women’s 3m springboard, followed by Maria Polyakova (357.65). The third result was demonstrated by Vitaly Koroleva (354.65).
Diving competitions will run until 30 July. In March, the International Swimming Federation (FINA) suspended Russian and Belarusian athletes from participating in competitions due to the situation in Ukraine.
