Ferencváros coach Cherchesov: game and result are two different things
MOSCOW, AUGUST 4 – RIA Novosti. Stanislav Cherchesov, head coach of Hungarian football club “Ferencváros”, said that the result of the first match of the third qualifying round of the Champions League did not reflect all the nuances of the game.
On Wednesday, “Ferencvaros” in Baku drew 1:1 with Azerbaijani “Karabakh”.
The head coach of the Hungarian club said, “We already played 4-5 matches, they were difficult matches, we also had two difficult away matches where we had good results. I can congratulate the team, the players gave their all.” .
The return match will be held in Budapest on 9 August.
