Rubin head coach Slutsky: Dziuba did not train with the club this week
MOSCOW, AUGUST 9 – RIA Novosti. The coach of the team, Leonid Slutsky, said that the striker Artem Dziuba did not train with the Kazan football club Rubin, which plays in the First Division this week.
Dzyuba has been training with Rubin since July 12 to stay fit. The Kazan club said earlier that they had not discussed the possibility of signing a contract with the striker. On August 1, one of the Telegram channels announced that the 33-year-old striker Rubin will apply for the third round match of the First Division against Ufa. The Kazan club later told RIA Novosti that the information was not correct.
Dzyuba is a free agent. His contract with Zenit expired after the Russian Premier League (RPL) ended last season.
