Barcelona has registered four new players to play in La Liga.
MOSCOW, August 12 – RIA Novosti. Spanish football club Barcelona has registered four out of five new players for their 2022/23 Spanish Championship matches, according to La Liga’s official website.
Earlier, the Spanish edition of Sport reported that due to the financial situation of the “blue garnet” La Liga, it does not allow them to announce the players recruited during the summer transfer window and players who have signed new contracts with the club. Off-season, defenders Andreas Christensen and Jules Kunde, midfielders Rafinha and Frank Kessier, and striker Robert Lewandowski joined the squad. Their contracts with the club were extended by forward Ousmane Dembele and midfielder Sergi Roberto.
Barcelona on Friday added Christensen, Kessie, Rafinha and Lewandowski to their national championship roster. Out of the application, 23-year-old Kunde remained.
On Saturday, Barcelona will play the first round match of the national championship at home against Rayo Vallecano.
