Sabuncuoğlu: “Adana Demirspor” made an official offer to Dziuba
MOSCOW, August 16 – RIA Novosti. Local journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu said on Twitter, that Zenit St. St. Petersburg, Artem Dziuba reported that he received an official contract offer from Turkish club Adana Demirspor.
Dziuba, who is a free agent and still does not have a club, has been training with Rubin, who has been playing in the First Division since 12 July, to maintain his form for about three weeks. The Kazan club said they did not discuss the possibility of signing a contract with the striker.
Dziuba’s former teammate, Ukrainian defender Yaroslav Rakitsky, who played in Zenit between 2019-2022, became Adana Demirspor’s player this summer.
Dziuba announced that he is leaving Zenit after the end of the 2021/22 Russian championship season. Since the summer of 2015, St. Petersburg club, was the team captain. Together with Zenit, the striker became the four-time champion of Russia, and all titles were won in a row. He also won the country’s two Cups and four Super Cups, becoming the top scorer in RPL history.
Last season, 33-year-old Dziuba made 39 appearances, scored 13 goals and provided 10 assists.
