In August, British media reported that London’s Chelsea were interested in Maguire, but the Red Devils had rejected the offer for the player and banned the Englishman’s sale during the current transfer window.
Maguire, 29, transferred from Leicester to Manchester United in the summer of 2019 for 87m euros and made 146 appearances for the team, scoring seven goals and providing five assists. He has 46 matches and seven goals as part of the England squad.
