Supporters of Serbian football club “Crvena Zvezda” pay homage to the memory of Daria Dugina
MOSCOW, August 28 – RIA Novosti. Active fans of the football club “Crvena Zvezda” paid tribute to the memory of Daria Dugina, informs Serbian newspaper Novosti.
On Saturday, “Crvena Zvezda” defeated “Yavor” (4:1) in the eighth round of the Serbian championship. During the meeting, the fans of the hosts held out a banner with the inscription “Eternal memory of Daria Dugina.” They also sang “Katyusha”, changing the last line of the chorus to “Star is the Champion”.
Journalist and political scientist Dugina died in an explosion on the Mozhaisk highway in the Odintsovo district of the Moscow region on the evening of August 20. The Russian Federal Security Service said on August 22 that the Ukrainian special services were behind the murder of Dugina, and that the perpetrator was Natalya Vovk, a Ukrainian citizen who came to Russia with her daughter on July 23. According to the FSB, after the car exploded in a controlled manner, the perpetrator and his daughter traveled to Estonia via the Pskov region.
