Coach “Vanguard” Ryabykin: The new format of the KHL will positively affect the development of the league
MOSCOW, August 30 – RIA Novosti, Andrey Senchenko. Head coach of Omsk Avangard Dmitry Ryabykin expressed his opinion that the new format of the regular season of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) will positively affect the development of the tournament.
In the 2022/23 regular season, teams will play 68 games.
Vanguard’s head coach also said that the team’s first goalkeeper will be Stanislav Galimov.
“We are in a difficult season, especially the beginning. I am happy with the way the “pre-season” players work. There were special loads. So far the offensive connections look like this: Tolchinsky – Knight – Boucher, Tkachev – Broadhurst – Gritsyuk, Yakupov – Malykhin – Bryukvin and Zharkov – Dedunov – Telegin. I hope everyone is healthy. As for the goalkeeper, Galimov will be the first to start the season, “said Ryabykin.
