SKA defeats Severstal and regain leadership in KHL Western Conference
MOSCOW, September 12 – RIA Novosti. Petersburg SKA defeated Severstal Cherepovets in the away game of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) regular season.
The match at Cherepovets ended 4:1 (2:1, 1:0, 1:0) in favor of the guests. Among the winners, Maxim Groshev (8th minute), Marat Khairullin (13), Zakhar Bardakov (35) and Igor Ozhiganov (53) scored. Ruslan Abrosimov recorded the puck of the home team in the 29th second of the match.

SKA maintained their lead again in the Western Conference, scoring ten points over five games and ahead of Spartak Moscow (9 points). Roman Rotenberg remains the only club that hasn’t suffered a single defeat this season. “Severstal” is in seventh place in the conference with six points.
