Communist Party Chairman Zyuganov: It will be enough to call the reserves for partial mobilization
MOSCOW, September 21 – RIA Novosti. Gennady Zyuganov, leader of the Communist Party faction, said it would be enough to call in some Russian reservists to calm “mothers worried about their children” to carry out partial mobilization.
“I want to reassure everyone, including mothers, who are absolutely right to worry about their children… If only some of them (reserve – ed.) are called into service and equipped with the appropriate training and equipment, they can do it. Perform any combat duty. Because this country has such a decision He has the opportunity and the courage to give.”
Zyuganov noted that “almost three million people wear shoulder straps” in the country.
Zyuganov stressed that during partial mobilization, those who can “control the ground forces, provide the necessary communications and air defense – as well as many in reserve” will be in demand.
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the decree “On the declaration of partial mobilization in the Russian Federation”. According to the decree, the regional heads were instructed to provide the draft partial mobilization service in the number and time period determined by the Minister of National Defense.
