“We continue to develop and develop the combat power of the Air Force as the basis for rapid response forces,” Shoigu said at a meeting of the board of directors of the Russian Ministry of Defense on Wednesday. Said.

According to him, the development of military infrastructure in the Air Force continues.
“This year, it is planned to put into operation more than 100 buildings and structures for the benefit of four formations and the Ryazan airborne school. This will ensure proper storage and maintenance of equipment, create comfortable living conditions for personnel.” said.
He said that at the meeting the main measures and guidelines for improving the organization of research and development work carried out by order of the Ministry of Defense, as well as the implementation of plans of activity in the Eastern Military District will be discussed.
