Peskov: Partial mobilization decision linked to actual conflict with NATO bloc
MOSCOW, September 22 – RIA Novosti. Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, said that the partial mobilization decision was due to the fact that Russia is currently facing de facto NATO bloc with all its logistics capabilities.
Partial mobilization has been declared in Russia by presidential decree since September 21. According to Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, a total of 300 thousand reservists will be called in, which is just over 1% of the total mobilization resource of the Russian Federation.
“The President made a clear statement in his speech yesterday and explained the reasons for taking such a decision. The fact is that special operations have started in Ukraine to achieve the objectives. Now we are facing it in practice … by the NATO bloc with all its logistics capabilities. This has led to such a need. ” said.
