The Pentagon signs a $12 million contract for the maintenance of radars for Kiev’s needs
WASHINGTON, September 30 – RIA Novosti. The US Department of Defense awarded a contract of approximately $12.1 million to local communications and military equipment manufacturer SRCTec for the maintenance of UCR/TPQ-50 radars for the needs of the Ukrainian army. says In a Pentagon statement released Thursday.
The full cost of the contract is estimated at $12,096,538, according to the department. The work will take place in Syracuse, New York, where the defense contractor is headquartered.
Estimated order completion date is 30 June 2023. At the same time, as stated, the financing of these works will be provided from the appropriations for “promoting the security of Ukraine” for the 2022 fiscal year.
